Packing on Your Own

If you would like to pack up your equipment on your own, you should still purchase the containers that you need from the moving company. When packing tech equipment, it should be placed in a box that is cushioned and should not move around at all. If the equipment moves too much, it can damage the internal components. If they do service the area, you should go ahead and place an order to have your service moved to your new location. They may have to install new cabling to get you set up. You may also need to change some settings on your network. If you are not sure what to change, ask the contractor to do this for you while they are there.
